1994 -            Rolfing Structural Integration.  Private Practice.  Work with clients to resolve

                        chronic pain, alleviate the effects of past physical and emotional traumas, and

                        improve body and self awareness.

2000 - 04     Foster Parent.

2001-2         Rolfing Consultant to Shake-A-Leg, Newport, RI. Helped recruit and instruct

                        new Rolfers working in the Body Awareness Therapy program, an

                        interdisciplinary rehabilitation program for people with spinal cord injuries

                        and other neurological disorders.

1997-00       Summers. Staff member at Shake-A-Leg, Newport, RI. Provided Rolfing for

                      participants privately and in group settings in the Body Awareness Therapy

ABOUT GREG


    

        Greg was born in Albany, NY, and brought up in Kensington, MD.  He has been interested in human development, physical movement and embodiment since his late teens.   He attended the University of Chicago where he studied philosophy and psychology and graduated phi beta kappa in 1992.  At Chicago, Greg also began his study of body and movement therapies, studying t’ai chi, chi kung, yoga, aikido and meditation.


        After graduating from the University of Chicago, Greg worked as a patient advocate at the University of Chicago Hospitals and attended the Chicago School of Massage Therapy.  He was certified as a massage therapist in 1993.   Greg then went on to train at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO.  He was certified in Rolfing and
Rolfing Movement in 1994 and as an Advanced Rolfer in 2000. 


    After completing his Rolfing training, Greg moved to Rhode Island with his soon to be wife, Jane Anne.  During the Summer of 1997 through 2000, Greg was a staff member at Shake-A-Leg, an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program for people with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders.  During 2001 and 2002, Greg continued to consult and provide services for Shake-A-Leg.


    Since 1996, Greg has also been a student of the Diamond Approach, a method of spiritual inquiry and exploration.  He teaches spiritual inquiry work to individuals and groups.


        Greg and Jane have been foster parents, caring for many babies and a few teenagers in both private and state care.  These days they are raising their two children.  In addition to work and family time, Greg enjoys playing guitar, reading, and watching movies, television and his cats, among other things.
